真正英軍スターリングついに発売! The"true British" Sterling AEG out now!!
I apologize for leaving my blog unupdated for a while, im still going through lots of things trying to fit myself back into Japanese society.
But anyways, the "true British" Sterling L2A3 AEG is finally released from Beta Project in Hongkong.
忙しさのあまりしばらくブログを放置していたことをお詫びします。が、この度、かねてからリポートしていた真正なる英軍スターリングL2A3の電動ガンが、香港BetaProjectブランドから発売になりましたことをレポートします!

As i mentioned in my previous post about Sterling AEG, Iron Airsoft(also based in HK) was announcing their initial L2A3 production, now they seem to OEM for their sister-brand "Beta Project" and release the L2A3 under the Beta Project brand. All this is my speculation though, i might as well be all wrong because, as for Japan, certain airsoft store blogs are spreading photos of again a british L2A3 somehow labelled with "Arrow Dynamics" brand. For now im thinking that the "Arrow dynamic" release thingy is one of those Japan exclusive retail rights typa situation, and that the gun inside the box might be the same thing.
I'm quite not familiar with their hidden politics n pacts, but hey, we have a prime example of Umarex HK GBBs all being made by the reputable VFC, so this kind of confusion in airsoft branding scheme is much expected nowadays. But anyways, it's getting too complicated of a task for us to simply know who's really making what...smh かねてから報告してきましたようにIron Airsoft では正統派なるイギリス軍スターリングL2A3の開発と生産を進めてきましたが、この度同じく香港の姉妹?ブランドであるBetaProjectからのスターリング発売となりました。何故か日本のショップ系ソースではArrowDynamic製が近日入荷とアドバタイスされてるようですが、国際ソースには見受けられません。きっと日本での独占販売権でもあるのでしょうか、もしくはどちらも全く別物?よくわかりません。とにかく、世界マーケットではBetaProjectより販売が開始されています。HKのリアルGBB シリーズがVFC のOEM でUmarex名義で販売されていることも一般的ですし、質の高い製品を作る中小企業が金だけある大手や商標権利のみで実体無く営業するずる賢い会社等に"着せられながら"の生き残りや駆け引きを展開する近年の国際エアソフト業界は、悪い意味での日本の陰湿な企業体質を取り込みすぎかと感じます。エンドユーザーにとっては実際に開発して作ってるのが何処の誰かを見極めることが日に日に難しくなってきますね。
These photos are taken by a Sterling fan in Hongkong who got his lucky hands on the very first batch of release. Where i reside in Japan, we have muzzle velocity regulation (320FPS or lower)therefore "detuning" is required prior to importing. im going to have to wait for a little while to get mine.
But anyways lets examine some detail shots..
これらの写真は香港在住のスターリングファンの方が入手した初生産のものです。日本では320FPS以下のマズルベロシティー規制がありますから、デチューン加工を施すことが輸入のリクアイアメントとなりまして、入手にはほんの少し時間がかかりそうです。
まあ、とりあえず彼の写真を参考に考察していきましょう。
Correct shape of the forehand safety tabs, correct front sight post and it's housing/guard. Correct bayonet lug recess is on the other side (not pictured here, but don't worry, It's there in correct shape, i've confirmed it ) steel stamped receiver is finished pitch black while the Action Airsoft's "Canadian C1" sterling was in disappointing phosphate gray finish. British L2A3 comes in several variation of PostWar British "Epoxy-coat" finishings, shiny or heavily grained, the color was always pitch black.
フォアハンド保護用の突起も正しい英軍スターリングの形、正しいフロントサイトポスト/ガード。反対側にはバヨネット取り付けのためのリセスもきちんとあります(写ってませんが確認とれてます)。実銃同様スティールプレス&溶接で組まれたレシーバーは真っ黒にフィニッシュされており、先のAction airsoft製カナダ軍C1なんちゃってスターリングのパーカーフィニッシュとは別物なリアルさです。時代によってバリエーションがありますが、戦後英軍の銃は、ブローニングやL1A1も含めてすべて真っ黒にエポキシコートされていました。光沢のあるもの、ざらざらとグレインの凄く荒いもの、どちらも色は真っ黒でした。

スターリング社のロゴがマグハウズィングに刻印されています、が、軍誇称名、口径、シリアルなど見受けられません。日本のショップがながしたArrowDynamic名義のものの紹介には『フル刻印』とありますから、どうなんでしょう。
Correct 34rd type British mags with almost unnecessary amount of steel reinforcements, learned from Sten SMG's feeding troubles in WW2. Another notable characteristic of a Sterling mag was it's "dual roller magazine follower", again to ensure smooth feeding. On top of these totally overkill reinforcement attempts, British MOD even went hard on instructing it's soldiers never to grip on magazines while shooting. In real life, these sterlings shot totally fine even with a kid sitting on the magazine because of these vigorous reinforcements. I love British people lol
正しい34rdタイプの英軍マガジン、必要ないほどの補強がこれでもかとされている戦車のような作りをしています。大戦中のSten SMGで多発したマガジン周りの精度によるフィーディングトラブルに対してのアンサーだそうで、このスターリングマガジンのもうひとつの著名な特徴として、フォロワーが二連装のローラーになっています、やり過ぎにも程があるのに、イギリス国防相は、すべての兵士に、決してスターリングのマガジンを握って撃たないようにと徹底した通告を行っていました。実際にはスターリングは、子どもをマガジンの上にに座らせて撃っても全くジャムらないほどガッチガチに補強されていて全く問題無かったそうです。イギリス人のこういう、あとでネタになるような事を本気でやるヒラリアスな性格が僕は好きですね。
A few drawbacks shown, one being the enlarged (and shapen wrong at the front) trigger mechanism housing (lower receiver) to utilize a modified Ver.3 mecha box (confirmed),but oh well, i know that we can't really complain too much at it but i kinda think Action Airsoft actually did better for this part due to the use of a PTW unit instead of the standard Marui type unit...smh. the other con is the "smooth" surface bolt unit&bolt handle group that are all "chromed" somehow. British L2A3 came with a black finished bolt with "self-cleaning" notches engraved on the surface, so that the powder residue and foreign debris would be blown out of the action. This worked as well to minimize the contact surface of bolt and receiver tube (less contact=less friction). I hope some aftermarket company comes up with a black finished notched bolt and a bolt handle. Well, lets not look at this picture too long tho, obviously because all the rest of this replica is built near perfect, and correctly replicating a true British L2A3 in every way.
残念な点は2点ほど、ひとつはVer.3メカボックス(確認済み)を内蔵するため多少大きくアレンジされたトリガーメカニズムハウズィング(ローワー)、うーん、でもこれだけは愚痴を叩こうにも、、。この部分だけに限ってはPTWユニットを使ったAction Airsoftのほうが上手く小ぶりにまとめてきたと思います 。もうひとつの残念点はボルトグループの色とのっぺりした外周でしょう。英軍のL2A3には黒染めのボルトグループ(ハンドルも)が入っているはずで、湾曲したハンドルの再現は良いですが、ボルト表面には比較的大胆な汚れ飛ばし用のミゾがつけられていたはずです。L1A1のボルトにも見られるこのミゾはエポキシ塗装と並んで戦後英軍の銃器の特徴で、ボルト作動の際に火薬の燃えかカスや外部から入り込んだ砂粒などをミゾ中に逃がすあるいは吹き飛ばす効果があるとされ、同時にボルトとレシーバーとの接している面積を減らす=摩擦係数が減る ことも狙っていたようです。 まあとにかく、この写真はあまり眺めないようにしといて、どこかのアフターパーツでリアルなミゾつき黒染めボルトが出るよう願いましょう。他がほぼ完璧な英軍スターリングだけに、おしい所でハズしてると気になりますね。
Now that im quite not too sure if this Sterling is Iron Airsoft made, as the design of trigger housing (lower receiver) is showing some difference from their prototype (and i honestly don't believe that they'd mess it up on their released products, Iron airsoft is a very high-end manufacturer), but anyway for a reference,,,When i talked to a guy from Iron Airsoft, he mentioned of their sterling's EBB modification capability. Iron Airsoft originally designed the gun with blowback function yet decided to release it with blowback disabled for obvious reason. Bolt handle and bolt(cover) would reciprocate together with mechabox's air cylinder action. If the bolt handle gets caught in, i would say a tree branch, or a window frame for example (this most likely would happen when u stick ur gun out of ur cover, unaware of it's bolt travel), ur mechabox is pretty much doomed, gears all F'd. U don't ever want that.
But for those of us wanting to see the moving bolt badly, the same guy from Iron Airsoft also told me that they intentionally left the "option" inside so we could easily enable the blowback function ;) If this Sterling turns out to be the Iron airsoft OEMed i will get my hands on it, but for now i am sending an Email to the same guy trying to clear my mind, coz i don't wanna end up spending my money on some stolen-hype.
トリガーメカニズムハウズィングのアレンジなどIron airsoftの発表したプロトタイプやCADモデルと違う部分も見られることから、もしかしたらこのスターリングはIronairsoft OEMではなく独自設計、Arrow dynamicのほうがIron airsoft OEM,いやむしろAction をふくむ4社がそれぞれ独自設計のスターリングでスターリング祭り、てなことになってきたら笑えます。ので、そこんとこが明確になるまで購入は控えようとおもいます。 余談ですが、Iron Airsoftの方と話した時、ブローバック機能について教えてくれました。Iron Airsoftではプロトタイプの時からもともとシリンダー連動のブローバック機能付きとして開発したらしく、以前プロトタイプ紹介のブース展示物にもEBBの三文字が書かれていたものです。しかし発売にあたって、ブローバック機能を殺してスタンダード仕様と決まったようで、その理由は想像に難しくないものです。スターリングのボルトハンドルは斜め横に大きくつきだしていながらボルトと共に激しくレシプロケートするわけで、余り考えずにブッシュから銃を付き出せばたとえば木の枝に、窓から付き出せばたとえば窓の鉄わくに、ボルトがぶち当たることになり、電動ガンの場合メカボックスのギアが即死します。 ただし、iron airsoftの彼は、GBBでは作れないスターリングだから、どうしても動くボルトを楽しみたい我々のために、当初のブローバック用の設計をあえて内部に残してある、と教えてくれました。簡単な加工でブローバック機能を復帰できるようにしてあるそうです。Iron airsoftからは今年秋に発売との情報をいただいてましたし、今回のこのBetaProject製や日本で囁かれておりますArrow dynamic製の実体について明確になってからしかるべき製品を購入、レポートしようと思います。

Colt 9mm SMG GBB by RealSword発売決定! M16A2も!
RealSword at IWA2014 have announced their release of AR type GBB series with an estimated release date being late-May to early-June!! i'm uncertain about the first hitter, but among those prototypes displayed at the show, what caught my attention the most was their ''Colt 9mm SMG''. 『リアル』なAKの電動ガンで知られるRealSword社はIWA2014において、AR系のガスブロシリーズを展開することを発表し、展示されたどのモデルが一番先かは解らないが、来る五月末から六月頭には販売開始するとのことだ！展示されたサンプルやプロトタイプの中で最も目を引くのは、『コルト9mm SMG GBB』だ。

As you see in the photo above, the RealSword's GBB prototype seems to have the ''bolt forward assist'' that is NOT present in the Colt's original ''model 635'' (Colt 9mm SMG). *photos below for comparison.
Also the GBB version seems to lack the pin holes around the magwell which on a real firearm, drilled through to fix the 9mm mag adopter inside with 3 push pins.
The barrel length also seems bit longer on the replica, and its handguard is ''M4 type'' double shielded set instead of the single shielded ''XM type'' slim set on the real gun. The magazine on the replica seems to be sourced from an UZI design, but the Colt 9mm SMG magazines were almost identical to UZI's in dimensions yet definitely dedicated magazines for their 9mm SMGs due to the mag catch hole added. UZI mags were NOT compatible without the user's modification. **photos also shown below for reference
写真のRealSword社製のプロトタイプにはボルトフォワードアシストがついているようだが、これは実銃コルト製model 635(Colt 9mm SMG)には付いていない。*以下実銃写真を参考
内部アダプターを固定するためマグウェルを貫通する３本のプッシュピン穴も再現されておらず、バレル長も実銃にくらべ少し長い。
ハンドガードも実銃は『XMタイプ』のスリムハンドガードなのに対し、レプリカのほうは『M４タイプ』二重のヒートシールドで太いものが流用されているようだ。
マガジンはUZIのデザインが流用されているようだが、実際のColt製 9mm SMGのマガジンは、UZIのコピーではあるもののキャッチ穴の位置など違ってそれぞれに穴あけ加工無しでは共用は出来ない。**コルト製マガジンの写真も追記しておいた
No forward assist on the upper. Notice 3 push-pin holes around the magwell. 実銃にはフォワードアシストは無い。マグウェルにあけられたプッシュピン用の３穴に注目。
Colt 9mm SMG magazines. Same dimensions as UZIs but NOT compatible/interchangeable with UZIs, vice versa. コルト製9mm SMG用マガジン。UZIとおなじ寸法、構造であるがUZIのものと共用は不可、その逆もしかり。
This will most likely become the first GBB Colt 9mm SMG on the market. I certainly hope RealSword to somehow read my blog and correct above mentioned details on their released products.
Another prototype which caught my eyes was M16A2.
The ''semi-retro'' has long been neglected by airsofters for absolutely no reason. i'm personally a big fan of those OG A2 uppers with fixed carrying handles. Definitely the very last ''infantry man'' style, not a ''ninja wannabe'' like the A4 on the bottom. Oh yea, A1, as seen on top is coming out as well. この銃は市場初のコルト9mm SMGガスブロとなるわけで、RealSword社の方にはどうにかこのブログを読んでもらって、製品版には上記した間違いが正されていることを願う。

Also the GBB version seems to lack the pin holes around the magwell which on a real firearm, drilled through to fix the 9mm mag adopter inside with 3 push pins.
The barrel length also seems bit longer on the replica, and its handguard is ''M4 type'' double shielded set instead of the single shielded ''XM type'' slim set on the real gun. The magazine on the replica seems to be sourced from an UZI design, but the Colt 9mm SMG magazines were almost identical to UZI's in dimensions yet definitely dedicated magazines for their 9mm SMGs due to the mag catch hole added. UZI mags were NOT compatible without the user's modification. **photos also shown below for reference
写真のRealSword社製のプロトタイプにはボルトフォワードアシストがついているようだが、これは実銃コルト製model 635(Colt 9mm SMG)には付いていない。*以下実銃写真を参考
内部アダプターを固定するためマグウェルを貫通する３本のプッシュピン穴も再現されておらず、バレル長も実銃にくらべ少し長い。
ハンドガードも実銃は『XMタイプ』のスリムハンドガードなのに対し、レプリカのほうは『M４タイプ』二重のヒートシールドで太いものが流用されているようだ。
マガジンはUZIのデザインが流用されているようだが、実際のColt製 9mm SMGのマガジンは、UZIのコピーではあるもののキャッチ穴の位置など違ってそれぞれに穴あけ加工無しでは共用は出来ない。**コルト製マガジンの写真も追記しておいた
No forward assist on the upper. Notice 3 push-pin holes around the magwell. 実銃にはフォワードアシストは無い。マグウェルにあけられたプッシュピン用の３穴に注目。
Colt 9mm SMG magazines. Same dimensions as UZIs but NOT compatible/interchangeable with UZIs, vice versa. コルト製9mm SMG用マガジン。UZIとおなじ寸法、構造であるがUZIのものと共用は不可、その逆もしかり。
This will most likely become the first GBB Colt 9mm SMG on the market. I certainly hope RealSword to somehow read my blog and correct above mentioned details on their released products.
Another prototype which caught my eyes was M16A2.
The ''semi-retro'' has long been neglected by airsofters for absolutely no reason. i'm personally a big fan of those OG A2 uppers with fixed carrying handles. Definitely the very last ''infantry man'' style, not a ''ninja wannabe'' like the A4 on the bottom. Oh yea, A1, as seen on top is coming out as well. この銃は市場初のコルト9mm SMGガスブロとなるわけで、RealSword社の方にはどうにかこのブログを読んでもらって、製品版には上記した間違いが正されていることを願う。

HK417GBB by VFC 詳細な写真が公開!!
Umarex社はIWA2014において、一部のプレス関係者に対して、自社の最新リリース製品の詳細な写真撮影を許可した。その製品群には僕も最近スクープしたVFC社OEM生産のHK417GBBが含まれていた。僕も以前の記事でスクープしたようにVFC社からはこの銃は今年夏に発売となると発表がされている。
マガジンケースは実銃の半透明と違い真っ黒にみえるが、実はちゃんと半透明で内部マガジンによって黒く見えているのかもしれない。ちょっと写真では判別できない。むしろHKは黒い４１７用マグも作ってるの？
マガジン上面にはドライファイア用スイッチらしきものが見える。

Thompson SMG GBB KingArmsより近日発売！その他WW2の名銃も発表！

VZ.58 AEG&GBB 発売決定!
Tolmar d.o.o. of Slovenia has just announced that they will be releasing the world's first mass-produced airsoft replicas of VZ.58 Assault rifle series, both in AEG and GBB platforms!! スロヴェニアのTolmar d.o.o.社から、史上初のVZ.58アサルトライフルのエアソフトを、電動とガスブローバックの両方を発売するとの発表がありました!!
First in line will be the ''vz.58 Carbine'' and the ''vz.58 Compact''. Surprisingly, both guns are already in production with an estimated release date of April-May 2014!! As described in the top image, the OEM manufacturer is ARES,therefore the mecha-box on the VZ.58 AEG seems to be equipped with the ARES's mighty FSCU (Integrated Fire Control Unit). no more spitting out of weak BBs from the half-cycled mecha-box i suppose. No info on EBB function as of today (Mar 11 2014).
But anyways, real steel and full-metal GBB lovers like myself definitely need more infos on their GBB version. As they officially commented ''this is just a prototype, we're no way near planning of the release, but maybe in the future'' we certainly felt like our heart being played. HK417 GBB by VFC 夏に発売が決定！！Out on Summer 2014!!
Many of you have known or at least heard that VFC's been developing HK417 GBBR. Early yesterday, VFC's spokesman and the flagship store, the WGCshop has published the latest video footage showing their production-ready final sample of the HK417 GBBR, stating the release date to be the Summer 2014!! ....Finally!! :)

The very first GBBR of the 308. cal AR10 variant has been suspected of its insufficiency in blowback energy,to cycle its much heavier bolt group and action than those on AR15 type GBBRs. However, as you see in the latest video, the final production sample HK417 is showing its much promising blowback power, recoil and ROF.(not to mention the exaggerating sound captured in the video,,,,,i was like, damn! dat sounds properly like an 308 fo sho!! lol)
7.62mmNATO弾（アメリカでは一般に308『スリーオウエイト』と呼びます。）口径、史上初のAR10系のガスブローバックであり、質量の増大したボルトグループやアクション全般の関係上、ガスブロにおける作動性能について疑問視されていましたが、ご覧のとおり、今回発表となった製造前最終サンプルは、308.さながらの轟音をあげながら(笑)の快調なフルオート作動を見せております！

IRON AIRSOFT reacts to the Action Airsoft's Sterling release, announcing their own version, a correct British Sterling L2A3 AEG to be released in the autumn of 2014!!!!!!!!
IRON AIRSOFT社がAction Airsoft製スターリング発売に反応、以前より発売を控えていた正統派の英軍スターリング、L2A3 AEGを秋に発売決定！！
As i reported in my previous posts, Action Airsoft's Sterling AEGs are now released, on sale at MSRP of $480 USD. However, since the very first day i saw the leaked footage of their prototype, i've realized that Action Airsoft indeed copied the external of an old MGC cap-firing modelgun. MGC modelgun Sterling was in fact replicating a Canadian licensed copy named ''C1 SMG", NOT the original British L2A3.
in comparison to the original L2A3, Canadian C1 SMG utilized an extensive use of simplified pressed metal parts to lower the manufacturing cost. The shorter 30rd mags (34rd in L2A3), different front sight post with a sling swivel on side, simplified pressed metal forehand protectors, no bayonet lug on handguard, simplified bolt surface and the bolt handle, a simplified trigger, a flat faced muzzle cap without a bayonet recess, etc etc....
Even though Action Airsoft fitted L2A3 type muzzle caps on their ''copy of a copy'' Sterlings, Sterling fans and British militaria collectors are obviously left frustrated,unsatisfied at the product result, not to mention it's over-priced tag. i mean... $480? for a non-blowback AEG?And it's not even a correct L2A3? C'mon now!
以前のポストでも世界最速でスクープした通り、Action Airsoft製のスターリングAEGは希望小売価格＄４８０ほどで発売されています。僕は、初めてリークされたプロトタイプの映像を目にした時から、チャンバー周り子ネジなどの特徴より、同社のスターリングの外装はMGCの金属モデルガンをコピーしたものだと認識していました。MGCのスターリングは英軍のL2A3ではなくカナダ軍ライセンスコピーの''C1 SMG"であり、Action Airsoft製もその特徴を引き継いでいるものだということも述べてきました。本家のL2A3に比べカナダのC1 SMGは、プレス部品の増加徹底と簡略化で製造コストを抑えてあることがその特徴で、短い３０連マグ（L2A3では３４連）、横にスリングスウィヴェルを装備したフロントサイトポスト、角張ったプレス製溶接の前後フォアハンドプロテクターリブ、バヨネットラグの突起無しのハンドガード、単純化されたボルトの表面デザインとただの棒になったボルトハンドル、単純な形になったトリガー、バヨネットリセスの突起無しのマズルキャップなど、外見的な違いがあります。Action製ではマズルキャップのみ英軍L2A3タイプを付けたようですがそのほかは結局''コピーのコピーのコピー''であり、こだわりの強い傾向にある世界中の英軍ファン達からは『何故カナダ！？短けえよマガジン！付かねえよ銃剣！』というフラストレーションと不満足の声がすでにあがっております。英軍ファン以外の方々にとってもまずその＄４８０というオーバープライスぶりはブローバックすらしないスタンダード電動ガンにはあまりに「狙い過ぎ」な商法を臭わせております。

as i also mentioned this in my previous post, IRON AIRSOFT had their prototype L2A3 AEG made back in 2011. They once even ''suggested'' the near-release but for some reason (most likely their uncertainty in public demands for Sterlings)they backed it out right before their production was to begin. Now that Action Airsoft released their ''half-assed'' sterlings, IRON AIRSOFT reacted quickly, and finally decided to release their version. a correct British L2A3!!!
Below is IRONAIRSOFT's official announcement video showing their CAD-data model animating with sound added as usual. (all their products are announced this way) underneath is the photo of the fully completed sample shown back in the 2011, at their release attempt i mentioned.

このことも前回のスクープ内でつぶやいておりましたが、IRON AIRSOFTは２０１１年頃に L2A3電動ガンのプロトタイプを完全に仕上げており、その後ニーズへの不安からか発売が控えられてきましたが、この度のAction Airsoft製の『ビミョー』スターリング発売に触発されたようで、ついに彼らの、本家本元ブリティッシュ スターリングL2A3が発売決定となりました！！発売時期は今年秋とのことです！！
以下は数日前に公開されたばかり、おなじみのCADアニメによるIRON AIRSOFTの新製品予告ビデオです、その下は２０１１年に公開された完成サンプルの写真となります。
Definitely the correct British L2A3....:) It's worth mentioning that IRON AIRSOFT version is semi/full auto selective fire just like the real steel, and with a much much thinner grip than Action's. Fuck Yes!! 正真正銘の本家、英軍L2A3ですよ....:) IRON AIRSOFT版は実銃通りのセミ／フル（Actionはフルのみ、セフティーすら死んでるとか）そしてなによりActionに比べ断然細いグリップを述べておくべきでしょう。

Cybergun FNX.45 GBB発売決定！OEMはStarkarmsか？？
Cybergun has officially announced their release of FNX.45 pistol!!
Recently, Airsoftsplat blog team leaked the photo taken from cybergun's booth displaying their prototype FNX.45 low-key at the Shotshow 2014. This seems forced Cybergun to officially announce the release, posting detailed photos of their FNX-45 on their facebook fanpage a few days ago. サイバーガン社からFNX.45ピストルの公式発売予告が出されました！Airsoftsplatブログチームがショットショー２０１４にてサイバーガン社のブースに『お忍び』でと展示されていたプロトタイプの写真を強行リークしたことが、サイバーガン社に公式予告を余儀なくさせたようです。つい数日前サイバーガン社の公式fbページにて写真とともに発表されました！
As many of you know, Cybergun relies on OEM manufacturers such as KWA and Starkarms(VFC), officials however leaves no comments about the particular manufacture for their FNX.45....
My best guess is.... Starkarms(VFC), reason being Cybergun's previously successful release of the Starkarms OEM-ed M&P9 Compact. (VFC is under contracts with Umarex to release and distribute their line of HK and Colt trademarked products, therefore they've established another brand ''Starkarms'' to be able to deal with Umarex's rival distributer the Cybergun without harming the VFC's relationship with Umarex) The Starkarms OEM-ed M&P Compact was ultra realistic and much higher quality built comparing to WEs so as their Glock series. it is fairly imaginable that cybergun has given another ''go'' for Starkarms OEM. But, who knows. either company makes superb quality GBBs anyway.皆さん知っての通り、サイバーガン社はその商品の製造をKWAやStarkarms(VFC)によるOEMに一任しています。今回のFNX.45に関してはOEMメーカーがどこであるかの情報は発表されておりません。僕の最大の予想では、、、、Starkarms(VFC)でしょう。サイバーガン社で以前に発売したM&P9コンパクトはStarkarms(VFC)のOEMであったことが理由です。（VFCは基本的に同社のHKやColtラインナップの為Umarex社とトレードマーク使用およびディストリビューションの専属契約を結んでおり、その関係を傷つけずにサイバーガン社とも契約を結ぶためにStarkarmsをたちあげております。）StarkarmsのM&P9コンパクトは当時ライバルであったWE製にくらべ格段にリアルで質が良く、それは同社グロックシリーズの出来にもいえることです。サイバーガン社が再びStarkarmsによるOEM製品をリリース決定というのは容易に想像できると思います。まあKWAもStarkarmsもどちらもすばらしいGBBをつくりますのでどちらでもよいですが。
i'm usually not into fully modular, rails everywhere, typa ''tacti-cool'' hypes, neither i am anyway easy to be fooled by such market schemes. but FNX.45 definitely has something which grabs my attention. The size, the ergonomics, the fully ambidextrous controls and above all ''tacti-coolness''design features packed, there is a good old military DA/SA hammer as well as those suppressor-ready raised sights and threaded muzzle confirming it's hard-coreness to the level where no other has reached. I mean, FN Herstal has been a primal firearms manufacturer for US forces, and this gun was created for the US service pistol trial. if selected tho, i'd guess the raised sights and threaded barrel would be for spec-ops option. i haven't shot nor seen any real FNX.45s myself as these goes for over $1500, but all i hear is extremely positive feedbacks.

Recently, Airsoftsplat blog team leaked the photo taken from cybergun's booth displaying their prototype FNX.45 low-key at the Shotshow 2014. This seems forced Cybergun to officially announce the release, posting detailed photos of their FNX-45 on their facebook fanpage a few days ago. サイバーガン社からFNX.45ピストルの公式発売予告が出されました！Airsoftsplatブログチームがショットショー２０１４にてサイバーガン社のブースに『お忍び』でと展示されていたプロトタイプの写真を強行リークしたことが、サイバーガン社に公式予告を余儀なくさせたようです。つい数日前サイバーガン社の公式fbページにて写真とともに発表されました！
My best guess is.... Starkarms(VFC), reason being Cybergun's previously successful release of the Starkarms OEM-ed M&P9 Compact. (VFC is under contracts with Umarex to release and distribute their line of HK and Colt trademarked products, therefore they've established another brand ''Starkarms'' to be able to deal with Umarex's rival distributer the Cybergun without harming the VFC's relationship with Umarex) The Starkarms OEM-ed M&P Compact was ultra realistic and much higher quality built comparing to WEs so as their Glock series. it is fairly imaginable that cybergun has given another ''go'' for Starkarms OEM. スターリング SMG 電動ガン ついに発売!! / Sterling SMG AEG now released!!
Announced from HK's Action Airsoft last year, the AEG Sterling SMG is now released via EhobbyAsia.com!
昨年末、香港のAction Airsoftより告知されていたスターリングSMGの電動ガンが、 EhobbyAsia.comよりついに発売されました！
As i mentioned in my last posting, Action Airsoft's AEG is without a doubt, based on an MGC's old school modelgun (cap firing blowback replica) ''Sterling Mk.V'' which was indeed a Canadian variant ''C1 SMG''.
The ''C1'' differs in it's extensive use of pressed metal structure comparing to the original British sterling L2A3 which incorporated rather harder to manufacture, milled parts. notable external design difference is its shorter 30rd magazine (34rd in L2A3s), front/rear sights, front sling swivel, square-shaped pressed metal forehand protector ribs, smooth-surfaced bolt carrier, straight bolt handle and it's simple straight trigger.
presence of screws around the chamber area is the reminiscent of MGC's replica, they did so originally for the owner's ease of detaching chamber unit for cleaning after firing highly corrosive cap powders.
前回の僕のポストでも述べたとおり、このAction Airsoftのスターリングはイギリスの''L2A3''ではなくカナダのコピーである''C１''をモデルアップしていたMGCのモデルガンをベースに制作されているようです。C1はオリジナルのL2A3に比べてプレスをさらに多用した簡略化が施されていて、英軍オリジナル３４rdに対して３０rdに短縮されたマガジン、フロントサイトガード、二段可倒式リアサイト、フロントに追加されたスリングスイヴェル、プレスパーツで後付けとなったフォアハンド安全リブ、汚れ飛ばしセレーションのないスムースなボルト、簡素な直線ボルトハンドル、単純な形のトリガー等、外見的違いが有ります。

Action Airsoft's Sterling drives its PTW style mech-box with a 7.4v 1100mAh Twin Pack Lithium Battery housed inside the handguard. Unlike the real steel sterling which is Semi/fully automatic selective fire weapon, the Action Airsoft's AGE turned out to be full-auto only.
今回の電動ガンは、MGCのコピーであるのでカナダ軍C１であるはずが、なぜか英軍L2A3タイプのマズルキャップをつけていて、これは外見的に英軍モノに似せる為かと思われます。しかしSMGに銃剣は不要としたカナダ軍C１ではハンドガード左側側面にあったバヨネットのロッキングラグがないため、マズルキャップのみが英軍L2A3でも英軍官給のバヨネット（L1A1 SLR共用）は装着出来ません。
Action AirsoftのスターリングはPTWタイプのメカボックスを、ハンドガードに納めた7.4v 1100mAhツインパックタイプのリチウムバッテリーで駆動します。実物はセミフル セレクティブファイアですが、今回の電動ガンはフルオンリーとなっているそうです。

overall built quality seems rugged and heavy as it is apparently based on MGC's steel stamped body, but the parkerized surface finish on Sterlings is indeed questionable. A thicker pistol grip isn't there to blame as it is an AEG grip housing a motor inside, but i wish they made it outa plain glossy black ABS. An L2A3 type muzzle cap as i mentioned above, is incorrect for C1s. it should be swap-able with the MGC's flat muzzle cap but considering of MGC's rareness (yet aside parts, gun itself is ultra hard to come by) it's better to source a real steel parts or to just grind-off the bayonet recess and call it a day. but thats ONLY if you are so damn into Canadian variant Sterlings tho. in my case,,,, definitely Not.
全体の作りは、スチールプレスの屈強なMGCモデルガンをベースにしているのでもちろん重く剛性も高いと思われます、が、スターリングに灰色のパーカライズの仕上げ、というのは非常に疑問です。すくなくとも英軍のスターリングは真っ黒な染め、後期のものはグレインコーティングがほどこされた独特な肌をしていたと思います。モーターを納める関係上太いグリップは仕方の無いことですが、現代的で繊維質な強化樹脂ではなく艶のある真っ黒なABSグリップにしてほしかったです。こういう小さいこと、シブい銃には大きなポイントですから。上記したとおり、C１としては間違いであるL2A3型のマズルキャップですが、MGCのパーツが入手できれば交換ができると思いますが、実銃C１のマズルキャップのほうが入手しやすいでしょう、しかし、あなたにそこまでするほどカナダ製コピーのC１に対しての思い入れがあるとしたら、ですが。僕には、、、確実にないです。
i recall Iron Airsoft in 2011 announcing their L2A3 with EBB unit inside. They had a nearly completed sample for display at gunshows here in Japan. Don't know what happened since then....
Spending $480 USD for a non-blowback ''Canadian C1'' now or desperately beg Iron Airsoft to finally release their ''true British'' L2A3 EBB in responce to this Action Airsoft Sterling, hmmmmmmm...........
最後に： そういえば、Iron Airsoftが２０１１年頃、正統な英軍L2A3を電動ブローバック付きユニット入りで発売アナウンスしていました。ほとんど完成状態のサンプルをショー等で展示していましたが、どうしたことか。
今回のAction Airsoft製スターリングは$480 USDということで、今、ブローバックしない、しかもカナダ軍コピーであるC１にそれだけつぎ込むのか、それとも一途の望みを出るかもわからんIron Airsoft製の英軍L2A3に託すべきか。。。。うーーーーん。。。。

スターリング AEG 1月末に発売
An engineer at HongKong's Action Airsoft just announced the late-January release of their Sterling SMG.
香港のAction Airsoftの技術者より、スターリングSMGのフルメタル電動ガンを来年1月末に発売するとの情報がリークされた。
Sterling as a Sten-descendant with it's notable ''side-held-mag design'' cannot be recreated with GBB mechanism due to it's native difficulty in securing the liquid-to-gas ''gasification'' space inside the magazine. Therefore the Action Airsoft's Sterling is a standard AEG. However it is still an iconic and appealing item for those who know the old school MGCs, AsahiFirearms and JAC sterlings as well as for the cold-war euro military freaks and 3rd world country guerrilla folks. Oh, yes! there gotta be tons of ''white-gentlemen'' wanting to attach a crappy scope and fit a tracer unit inside the barrel tube inorder to ''pew pew!'' with red tracer BBs. **Below photos are real steel L2A3s.
ステン同様、横刺しマガジンのため構造的にGBB化は望めない機種であり、スタンダードAEGとなるが、MGCモデルガンに始まり、アサヒ、JACのBV式時代を知る者はもちろん、根っからのガンマニアなら誰もが手にとりたくなるような味のあるデザインの軍用銃で、人気となることは間違いない。スコープやらなんやらを取り付け、発光トレーサーユニットを内部に組み込んで、赤い発光BB弾を「ピューン！ピューン！」言いながら発砲したい『白い方々』もいらっしゃるはずだ。

By watching the video carefully, i've noticed that the AEG is in fact copying a Canadian ''C1" (photo below) rather than the Brit's L2A3. Comparing to the Brit's Sterling, Canadian C1 and this AEG version have a shorter 30rd magazine (L2A3 is 34rd), square-shaped forehand protecters and different front sight guards. The thicker pistol grip housing an AEG motor is unavoidable, yet i still spotted small screws around the chamber. Above characteristics are visible evidences of this AEG copying the receiver of an oldschool MGC modelgun. Lets hope these screws would vanish in the final products. Correct C1 should also have a flat-faced muzzle plug like real C1s and MGCs would. However though, considering it's uniqueness, historic and iconic-value of owning this gun, i would say this AEG is more than satisfactory.
ビデオをよくみると、この電動スターリングは、３０連タイプの短いマガジンや（L2A3は３４連）フロントサイトガードや角張ったハンドガードリブの形状から、英軍のL2A3というより、下写真のカナダ軍C１をモデルにしたと思われる、、、。電動のほうには、グリップが太めであることは仕方が無いとして、実銃には無いチャンバー周りの小ネジも見られる、製品版では処理されていることを願おう。これらの特徴は、実はMGCの金属モデルガンスターリングの特徴であり、本電動ガンがMGCを参考に作られたものであると言うことができる。今回のものはマズルのみL2A3型がついているように見えるがC１であるならMGC同様に平らなマズルであるべきでもある。しかし、モノがモノなだけに、十分に及第点である。
